Aegean Intertrade Co at Anuga 2011

Aegean Intertrade Co took part in this year’s Anuga, the largest food and beverage fair in the world, from 8th to 12th October 2011. Aegean Intertrade Co's stand became the centre of conversations, analysis, presentations and agreements with new and existing customers -buyers in already existing as well as new, developing markets.

 

There was a presentation of the already prominent products and brands which have made Aegean Intertrade Co famous and strong for 27 years now (extra virgin olive oil, Kalamata olives, thyme honey, Melissa pasta, Korpi mineral water, Loumidis Greek coffee, Amita natural juice, Nescafe instant coffee, Kanaki dough products, Agrino rice, Haitoglou halva and tahini, Jannis pasteli (sesame snack), Kalloni fisheries, Karalis and Inahos cheese products, Palirria ready-to-eat meals) as well as many new, especially chosen products, which were separately presented at the “innovations display vitrine”.

  • Frozen souvlaki wrapped in pita (gyros, kebab, doner), ready to eat after 5΄ in the microwave oven (meat products Stohos S.A.)
  • Tahini with cocoa and orange (Haitoglou Bros S.A.)
  • Sun dried tomatoes in grape must in jars (Royal-Tsatsoulis S.A.)
  • The rare Chios Mastic in liqueur under the name Homericon, in modern design glass bottles. (Stoupakis Chios Distillery)
  • Red wines PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) NEMEA (Agiorgitiko variety) made out of organic grapes from semi-mountainous vineyards (Karamitsou Winery)
  • Peppers and pickles in vacuum packing (Strofilia S.A.)
  • Syrup-soaked desserts (siropiasta) (Vrettos S.A.)
  • Delicatessen Cheese Products (Inahos S.A.)
  • Sugar free fruit spread instead of jam (Makedoniki Halvatzis S.A.)
  • Traditional Greek strained yogurt ‘Lagadi’, a brand developed by Aegean Intertrade Co
  • Various frozen finger food recipes (Take Ltd)

6,596 companies from 100 countries participated Anuga 2011, in a total space of about 284,000 m², while over 155,000 trade visitors from 180 countries attended the exhibition. Aegean Intertrade Co is already cooperating with many of the customers who visited its stand at Anuga and is continuing the work of constant development of Greek exports.
